Rodman & Renshaw
Expansion space at 10 East 53rd Street
New York, New York (March 28, 2008) Manhattan-based commerical brokerage firm Winoker Realty company negotiated a 17,774 square-foot sublease and expansion for Rodman & Renshaw in the Harper & Row Building, 10 East 53rd Street. The Plaza District sublease has a term of one year.
Corey Abdo, senior vice president at Winoker Realty, represented the tenant, Rodman & Renshaw. Harry F. Blair, senior managing director at GVA Williams, negotiated on behalf of the tenant, HarperCollins.
"While considering all options when looking for a way to accommodate the firm's growth, Rodman & Renshaw ultimately opted for a one year sublease that provided the additional space the firm needed while negotiating a new long-term lease," explained Abdo. "The Plaza District location fit the investment bank's needs by offering an appropriate level of prestige and cache associated with the neighborhood. This is just one of many new deals Winoker has negotiated throughout the Plaza District."
The 38-floor building, located between Fifth and Madison Avenues, was constructed in 1972. Rodman & Renshaw will occupy the entire 35th and 36th floors.
Rodman & Renshaw is a full-service investment bank dedicated to providing investment banking services to companies that have significant recurring captial needs due to their growth and development strategies.
